Q1. What are the alarm systems used for?
These wireless alarm systems are widely used for homes, shops, restaurants, RVs, boats, offices, factory and much more; functioning of prompt alarm via voice calls or text messages when somebody attempts to intrude into the property.

Q2. Any additional monthly fees to use the alarm system like ADT and Brink? 1. If you already have land phone (PSTN) line, there is absolutely NO additional monthly charge.
2. If you do not have land line, we have cellular alarm systems that go with GSM. The SIM cards may be purchased as a prepaid card or on a monthly basis from your cellular carrier such as AT&T and T-Mobile. For you reference, the prepaid card from AT&T is $10 for 3 months, and can be a perfect solution for advanced and robust alarm systems.
3. Bonus: The main control panel can be used as a telephone.

Q3: Is SIM card included? and what SIM card recommended for the GSM dialer?
1. The SIM card is not included
2. The recommended SIM cards can be a prepaid card or on a monthly basis from your cellular carrier such as AT&T and T-Mobile. The prepaid card from AT&T is $10 for 3 months, and $100 for a year from T-Mobile, respectively.

Q4: Is the installation very easy?
Yes, this system is wireless, so installation is very easy. The mounting screws are all included for your convenience.

Q5: Is it easy to program the sensors? Yes, only seconds to program a sensor, simply follow the quick-start guide or the manual. Click on the keypad, and then trigger the sensor to send out signal, done!

Q6. How about the false alarms?
Most of false alarms come from sensors, not from the alarm panel. You can effectively decrease the false alarm in the following ways:
1. Choose good quality sensors
2. Choose pet-friendly PIR sensors if you have pets.
3. Refer to the enclosed quick-start guide and the manual for tips. It is crucial to decrease the false alarm.

Q7: Do you provide warranty service and technical support?
Yes, free one year warranty after the sale date. You just need to send the defective items back to us, we will repair or replace, then send back to you for free. We also provide unlimited technical support for free and accessories supply service with low cost to our buyers. Your satisfaction to our products and services is always our priority!

Q8:Will the wireless signal interfere with my wireless devices at home?
No, the signal is digital coded. It will NOT interfere with garage door openers, cell phones, wireless home phones etc.

Q9: How to install the control panel? The keypad has mounting holes on the back. Simply install it next to an AC outlet. You can also hide control panel for a higher level protection and uninterrupted monitoring.

Q10: Is it easy to mount the sensors? Yes. All the sensors are wireless, it is very simple to mount with screws or double-side stickers.

Q11: What are the batteries used for this system?
For the control panel, it is a rechargeable Ni-Hi battery with high capacity. It can last for 48-72 hours in case of power failure. For the sensors, the batteries are AA, AAA, 23A or other common types, the life time is 1-2 years, depending on how frequently they are used. When a battery is turning low, it will signal you.

Q12: How far can the sensors be mounted from the control panel?
The transmit range for the sensors is 240FT for regular use and up to 450FT in open area.

Q13: How to control the system via a cell phone or land phone?
When the alarm system is triggered, it will call the pre-set telephone numbers automatically, and SMS to pre-set cells. Also, you can call/SMS, and remotely control over the phone. You can listen in through the mic on the control panel and then take the actions correspondingly: arm, disarm, call your neighbor/friends or call the police etc.

 

Q14: How can I program a certain sensors into "Delay" mode?
Every sensor can be individually programmed into different zone type. For example: you can program the main entrance door sensor with entry time delay while the rest of the sensors with zero time delay. You may also want to set all the sensors with zero time delay and use the included remote control for the arm/disarm.

Q15: How can I walk around home without triggering the motion detectors while the rest of the sensors are still armed?
The "Home Arm" mode can be used. The other sensors including the door/widow sensors, smoke detectors, and water leak detector etc., can be kept armed even you walk around home. It is nice to have this feature and give you a signal if somebody sneaks in while you are upstairs or asleep.

Q16: Can I program a certain sensors into Emergency (24 Hours) mode? Every sensor can be individually programmed into different zone type. You can mount a door sensor on the closet/cabinet in which you save your valuable stuffs, and program this sensor into Emergency zone type. Thus, the system will set off immediately if the cabinet is opened. All panic buttons, smokes detectors are Emergency zone type sensors and will trigger the system immediately in emergencies. You can stop the emergency alarm by press "disarm" button on the remote keyfob or on the keypad.

Q17: What will happen if the AC power fails?
The control panel has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery with high capacity. The battery can last for 48-72 hours in case of power failure.
